DAY TWO

Day 2 is almost over.

I went onto YouTube and did a search for the Master Cleanse and found a ton of people logging their days on the diet; if only I’d done that sooner!

I considered starting a video blog, but

a) I’m already on my 2nd day, and

b) My mic doesn’t work.

I will however post before and after photos once this is done.

I feel quite lethargic, but that feeling was there before the diet too. My mouth waters at the smell of food being cooked, but I know it’s just a craving; for example, I hate fast-food outlets; I’ve eaten once at McDonalds and Burger King in the past 6 years; yet at a TV advert for a burger I found myself salivating. Disgusting.

This morning’s salt water flush lasted 3 or 4 hours; I suppose its because it’s my first “proper” flush. Also I noticed a little blood in my saliva in the morning, but it was gone immediately and hasn’t reappeared throughout the day.

Also, my maple syrup’s already halfway down; I shall need another bottle soon.

I’m already planning places to go and things to eat when this is done. I think it’s another form of craving; I’m thinking Chilli’s Boneless Buffalo Wings, and a huge Pizza. Although I hope, after tomorrow morning’s flush, I stop thinking such things.

I shall weigh myself tomorrow (day 3) when I get back home; hopefully there will have been some sort of reduction, which will motivate me to continue.

Being away at Uni it’s a bit easier to do this, but I worry that at home nobody will quite understand what I’m doing (and won’t care for it either, until they see the difference); so I’m expecting to be called down for lunch and dinner every day.

I’m on my 6th lemonade. One more, then tea, and then bed. Well I guess that’s all folks, for today…
